Hi there UpWork.
My freelancer has not responded in over a month... Our project is inches away from being completed. What do I do?

Personally (though I'm not a client), I wouldn't have let it get this far (one whole month, and now right up to deadline).
As a freelancer I hate to suggest this but why can't you fire him/her (end the contract) and hire someone new on a rush basis? Some freelancers balk at the word "rush" but it's legitimate in this case. But you DO want to choose much, much more carefully this time. And see if you can get an extension on your deadline.
Did you pay this freelancer anything yet?

Very simple:
Assign the tasks that freelancer was supposed to do to other people on your team.
