Hi, I have a doubt.
I am an Argentine resident. I already completed the W-8BEN form and withdraw the money from Upwork through Payoneer. I was considering withdrawing the money to my own bank account in the USA. Would this conflict with the W-8BEN form? I clarify again that I am not a resident of the United States. I live in Argentina but I would like to withdraw Upwork to an account in the USA

Santiago:
Upwork places no restrictions on who can withdraw their funds to a U.S. bank account. If you have a U.S. bank account already, feel free to use it. This is not in conflict with the W-8BEN form.

Thanks Preston. Could I have a problem with the IRS when declaring myself not a US citizen but withdrawing the money in the USA?

Withdrawal to a U.S. bank does not mean that you are claiming to be a U.S. citizen.
Upwork's help page states:
"Direct to U.S. Bank / ACH direct deposits are available to any freelancer with a U.S. bank account."

If you are not a U.S. citizen, then you are supposed to declare yourself not a U.S. citizen.
Many non-U.S. citizens withdraw money to U.S. bank accounts.

For tax questons, you may want to talk to your local tax authorities and experts.
But as a general concept:
No, you will not have a problem with the IRS if you declare yourself not a U.S. citizen (which is true) and if you withdraw money to a U.S. bank account (which is a completely legal and common practice).
