I have a couple of clients who haven't paid for the work I've done for them. I've contacted each of them at least a couple of times but have had no reply. What's my next move?

John:

I am always paid for the work I do through Upwork. This is because I know how to use Upwork properly.

I always get paid even if the client never replies.

If you don't get paid, it is because either:

a) you have made a mistake.

or

b) you actually were paid but don't realize it yet.

You need to learn what your mistake is. Learn how to guarantee that you get paid for your work.

If you would like to explain your situation in more detail, we can help you get find your money or tell you what you did wrong.

Hi John,

Please confirm if the contracts you're referring to are the Fixed-Price jobs on which you've already submitted Milestones? If they are, please make sure not to resubmit the same Milestone multiple times since this action reverses the countdown for the automatic release of Escrow funds, which happens two weeks after a Milestone is submitted, provided the client doesn't take any action in the meantime.

Check this Help article and let me know if you were talking about different contracts.
