Not available for new work (what does it mean?)

I have set up my status as: "Not available for new work", but what does it mean?

I've got invitation to interview by one of previous clients anyway. Looks like this status does not denies to invite me for jobs. Does it possible to make me job offer?

Hi Alexandr,

Even when you set yourself as unavailable, the clients you worked with can still send you job invitations or offers. Your stats won't be affected if you don't respond to these on time.
