Not receiving email notifications since the update

Ever since yesterday's update, I haven't been receiving email notifications when clients send me messages. I have received Upwork messages from 4 different clients since the update began and wasn't notified about any of them by email. Is it just me, or is this happening to anyone else? And most importantly, has anyone figured out how to fix it? I rely on those notifications when I'm not sitting at my desk with Upwork open.

 

Oddly enough, I have received emails regarding invitations to interview and clients closing contracts. It just seems to be message notifications that have disappeared.

If I had not signed into my account this morning, I would not have seen three messages from a potential client i'd submitted a bid to. I remembered seeing this thread, so I'm adding my 2ยข. I was signed in on Upwork, and when that's the case, messages get sent to my email ... this did not happen today.

 

Not knowing when/if a client has sent messages is a huge problem.

Thanks Bojan, but since others are having the same issue, it would appear to be a system-wide error - I'm not sure I need assistance.

I may lost a client because I didn't receive any upwork notifications on the mobile app nor on my Email which I regularly check. I accidentaly checked just now to see that he has written 5 days ago, I got nothing on my email and upwork app about that.

Our team identified and successfully resolved yesterday an issue which resulted in email notifications for unread messages not being sent for a limited number of users during the last few days. 

 

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your reports. We can confirm that you should have started receiving notifications for new unread messages starting yesterday evening PST time. Let us know if you continue seeing any issues moving forward.

Thanks Vlad - but today, the same client from yesterday left one message in our message room, but I received three notifications for that one message. At first I thought he'd sent three messages, but when I opened them, it was the same message sent three times.

 

So ... it's working, but not.

Virginia or anyone else, please let us know if you are still experiencing issues with your email notifications. Whether it be not receiving them at all, or receiving multiple notifications for the same message.

Yes, I did receive duplicate client message yesterday or Thursday (can't remember) - two instead of three this time.

 

ETA: Just got this reply on the ticket this morning: "Our technical team has informed us that this issue has already been resolved by now".  Um, nope.

I am also not receiving all the email notifications for client messages still. The most recent one was yesterday. Sometimes, I don't even get the notification from the message app. that a message was sent. I have checked, unchecked and rechecked the notification settings on my desktop (as someone suggested in another thread) This has been going on for me at least a month. I hope it is resolved.

My email notifications have stopped coming through to my email.

 

The last email that I received from Upwork was on Nov 10, 2018 (3 days ago). 

 

Please resolve!

Yes, I have received messages from one of my clients today at 5:22 am but
there is no email notification for that.

I, too, received an Upwork message from a client last night at 8:05 pm. As of 7:48 am, I still have not received an email notification.

Yesterday at 10:57 AM IST, I have received a message from one of the new clients- **edited for Community Guidelines**, but I didn't receive any email notification and hence couldn't reply to him.

Hi. I am not receiving email notifications for client messages either. I contacted Customer Support recently for this same issue and was told it was corrected. Please let me know if there is something I can do on my end to avoid this from happening again.

This is a seriously messed up issue that needs to be fixed and stay fixed. Why is this so hard to figure out that it's still going on??? C'mon Upwork.
