Not sure if I'm able to perform a work

The job I've got from a client is quite specific. Not everything depends on me that's why I can't guarantee the project will be done. We both know that. But what happens with the contract, for which I am unable to perform this task. Will it cause my Upwork ratings or something?

I think you should communicate with your client. If your client is fine with this situation, you should be fine.

Your Upwork rating depends on your client's feedback about you once the contract is ended.
