Is there any way to receive notifications when relevant jobs are posted?

The only way I could find is via RSS Feed. I installed Feeder on Chrome, which is not very helpful. Notifications don't come up on my screen when new jobs are posted or if they do, it's with a delay. I have to try to remember to check the feed and always end up finding jobs hours after they were posted and finding they already have 15-20 proposals. 

Is there any other way to receive job feed notifications or any better way to set up the RSS Feed?
