Old active contracts

Hey guys, hope you are all enjoying your day.
I have two old active clients which may be affecting my job success rate.
These are people that probably don't use upwork anymore, is simply ending the contract the best course of action?
Thanks.

What do you mean? There is nothing (open, with money paid) older than September on your profile?

Are those contracts where nothing was (ever) paid?

Sorry old as in an active one that was started a few months ago. Asked for one thing in the contract but once talking they asked for a different thing.

So nothing was paid, ever?

Those do hurt your JSS, yes, and you should avoid such contracts at all cost.

Never accept a contract until you have everything you need to at least earn *something*

You might as well close them, they hurt open and they hurt closed, and avoid them in future.

Nothing paid.

Thank you for your response! Will keep this in mind.
