Hey everyone,
I've been working with one of my original clients for a while now. A couple weeks ago, he mentioned that he'll be assuming a new position at another company. In the meantime, I've been working with somene else whom he appointed to our contract/room about a year ago. So in any case, that original contract will remain active; I'll continue to freelance for the original company.
He also mentioned that he'll be reaching out to me to set up a separate contract for his work at the second company. I got the invitation today, but it looks like he created a new account for it. I'm guessing I won't be able to take advantage of our lifetime billing history to get a reduced Upwork fee, since he's on a different account.
I'm wondering if there's any known workaround to this. Thanks!

I had a similar case, one person creating a new company (under a new Upwork account while they could have used the same Upwork account for two companies, but they didn't know).
Upwork told me there is nothing that could be done.
