Open closed contract and refund

Hello.
I worked with client by fixed-price contract.
One day I got notification from Upwork that contract was closed and I got request to refund.
When I contacted with my client he told me that he didn't closed contract and didn't requseted to refund.
Job contained three milestones, but I completed only two.
Now, we (I and client) want to finish project. What we can do in this situation?

That meeans the third milestone was inactive for 90 days. Escrow funds can not be held any longer than that.

A contract, once closed, can not be reactivated, but your client can just use the returned funds and hire you on y new contract with one milestone to complete the project.
