One thing that sometimes bothers me a lot is outdated job posts and proposals.
Some proposals and interviews, I found even 1 - 2 moths old in this section.
It would be great if upwork setup some deadline for jobs. I mean
1 or 2 months or even older job posts really isn`t such a great thing.
I suggest to keep every job post for 1 month as active and after that to make
it inactive or to delete it.
What do you guys think about it? P.S. Sorry for mabe some grammar errors.
It should have some advantages to keep them open for Upwork and its users. Otherwise they wouldn't keep them open. We already have the ability to see jobs from the newest so we can just ignore them. I just got an interview from a job I applied 3 weeks ago. If it was deleted I wouldn't have.
I'm with Baris on this one. There's no real benefit to deleting projects after a certain period, but there are benefits to keeping them open, as Baris can testify to. And if it's an issue for you, each job shows how long it has been open... so it's just a case of stopping looking when you've gone back as far as you're comfortable with.
