I'm a freelancer that went over my weekly time limit of 5 hours to complete a project by 3.4 hours. My client and I discussed and they extended my weekly limit to 10 hours. However today started a new pay cycle so I am not seeing changes on the hours last week. Will I be getting paid for the extra 3.4 hours I worked last week ?

If the client extended the weekly limit last week (before midnight UTC yesterday) you get paid for the extra time.
If the client increased the weekly limit this week (after midnight UTC yesterday) then you won't automatically get paid, those hours will not get billed. The client can pay you via a bonus though.
