My client, who has a design business, has just requested for the .ai files of all of my first and second conceptual rounds of a logos. I feel like the final logo would be theirs for use and would be happy to send the .ai file, however I feel my concepts to get to the final logo are my property as a freelancer (perhaps a different story if you're working within an orgnisation). Is this right to assume this? I want to be diplomatic to keep the client but don't feel the amount the client pays is worth the many concepts they'll receive. Thank you!
