Payment Method

Hello everyone,

I made a mistake today by accepting a contract and client does not have verified payment method. This contract will end on Sept 28th which is tomorrow before 9AM PST. If I dont work on this contract I will have bad raputation and if I do payment is not secure. what should I do?

the contract will not end until either you or the client end it.

 

Give the client time to verify their payment method.

Thanks for replyig petra, but if client end the contract saying that freelancer was unable to complete the contract within timeline. will that hurt my rating or my profile?

Hi Jay,

 

It looks like the client is in process of completing their verification currently. Please, communicate with them and let them know that you won't be able to send them the work until they complete the verification.

While the due date you see next to the milestone is tomorrow, it doesn't mean that the contract will be automatically closed tomorrow.

Nice info Valeria, I was able to get in touch with client and she asked me to give her an hour and it will be done. Thanks for the help.
