Payment Still pending

Hello,

 

My client has paid the amount as a bonus on 6th July 2017 it's reflecting on my profile. However, in My Accounts, the payment is still showing as pending. It's more than 8 Business days now.

 

Can anybody please help me with the way forward.

Hi Shashank,

 

Unfortunately, the client's payment method couldn't be charged for the bonus your client issued. Please follow up with your client and ask them to make the necessary updates in order for this payment to go through, and their account to be resumed.

It likely means that the client's payment method declined the bonus. This means Upwork never got the funds, and therefor can't pay them to you.

 

Go to your "Pending" page

 

If there is a date against the transaction in the left (!) hand column (under "date"), that's when you get paid.

If it says "Pending" in the left hand column, and it has been more than 24 / 48 hours since the payment was initiated, there is a problem with the client's payment method.
