I've been an active freelancer on Upwork for several years, and I've never encountered an issue quite like this before.
Last week, I dedicated around 30 hours to a project, and unexpectedly, my client reduced my logged hours from 40 to 20 citing an increased workload. To add to the concern, when I checked the payment status, which was under review until yesterday, it not only wasn't processed but also my recorded working hours seem to be missing.
If anyone has experienced a similar situation or has insights on how to address this matter, I would be immensely grateful for your guidance and assistance.
