Payment declined while purchasing connects

Hello,

can anyone please guide me on how to purchase new connects. I don't have money n my Upwork account and I wast to add my debit card. debit card is added successfully and when I purchase connects it says the payment was declined. what should I do? Do I need something from my band or it is Upwork related. My local bank account is already connected and I have received my earnings before in my account.

Could you please check with your bank if your account is enabled for international charges? Thank you.

Thanks! Goran for the response. I will contact my bank for this issue and come back to you after Monday as the bank is closed.
