Payment doubt

I just had an hourly contract for two weeks. The payment for the last week is in the "Review" section, the payment for this week is still in the "Work in Progress" section but the client ended the contract because the job is already done. My question is, the payment would not have any problem even if the contract is ended? I asked the client if she could review all the work and release the payment but she said that Upwork controls the payment. 
Should I wait and be calm about this?

Hourly contracts are treated differently than fixed contracts. The client cannot release the funds for hourly. Your client is correct. Upwork controls that. You should receive payment for any work in "Review" next week (providing there are no problems). The "Work in Progress" shows your hours for this week. You will not receive payment for that for 2 weeks. 


I do not think there is any need for concern at this point.

Don't pester the client.

With hourly contracts, this is handled automatically.


Clients DO NOT REVIEW AND RELEASE payment for hourly work.


Contractors, such as yourself, do work. You log the time worked using the Upwork Team application.


You wait. Then Upwork pays you (using the credit card the client has on file).


The client DOES NOT need to do anything.


The client CAN NOT speed up your payment.
