Hello Upwork,
This is to bring to your kind notice that my client named ( **Edited for Community Guidelines** ) from **Edited for Community Guidelines** has done a fraud with me.
Upwork suspended him from the last few days due to some payment issue and due to which I was not able to put the time entry on the process.
Upwork released him yesterday and he said he has given my payment to upwork and upwork will pay me soon. Afterwards, he ended my contract and blocked me due to which I am not able to add the time entry.
I called him many times on phone but still no response and he blocked me from everywhere.
Kindly, please consider this and help me on this.
I have attached some of my messages screenshots and client's info and his email account.
Kindly, please take a strict action against that fraud.
Regards,
Rachit Nagpal

Do you mean it was an hourly job and you did not track your time, but expected to add manual time instead?
Nothing anyone can do about it.
Consider using the tracker for tracking your time, so you are protected in future.

You won't be paid.
Use the tracker in future unless you know and trust the client (and even then there is a risk.)
Manual time is never protected and if a client does not want to pay for manual time they can just not pay or dispute.
I *DO* use manual time for some of my contracts and have always been paid, but then I choose my clients carefully and it's a calculated risk. It will probably go wrong one day and that's a risk I take.
