Payment not received in my bank account

Hi!

 

I have concerns regarding payment I have just made with the project I have recently completed.

 

I have already transferred the payment through Local Funds Transfer and it has been 4 days since the transaction has been processed but I have not received anything in my bank account. Please help. I am not sure if the problem is with the transaction or this concern should be raised directly to my bank.

I have attached the transactions in which the Processed payment with date.PNGdates are specified.

That says the expected date of delivery is the 26th.  It's still the 26th in some parts of the world, so the day's not over yet.  An expected date isn't a guarantee - it could be a little faster, or a little slower.  And given the 26th is a Friday, if it hasn't come through on the day, it may not until Monday, as a lot of banks don't do overnight processing on the weekends.

 

I'd check again on Monday and see if it's arrived.

Hi!

 

Please help me. I am already getting worried about the payment I should be receiving. It's still the same issue with regard the subject above.

 

I am suppose to receive my funds on August 26, as per the date indicated in the notification I have received. I understand that 26 is a Friday and there are no bank transactions during the weekends. And so I waited until yesterday. However, when I checked on my card, there was still no amount. I consulted the bank yesterday but it was just today that I was able to speak with the concern center representative. When they traced my account, there are still no funds transferred, and it's already Wednesday here in the Philippines. The bank said as soon as there is an incoming fund, they will not hold it long. They will immediately release it for the card holder to withdraw.

 

I told them that there can't be an error with regard my transaction here in Upwork since I have already received a notification (the one I captured in my previous messages here). Please let me know if these delays really do happen, since it has been a week now since the transaction was made.

Hi Jhicel Mae,

 

I'm sorry about the delay of your first transaction, it's possible that the bank holiday in the Philippines on Monday affected the transfer. If you don't receive the funds eight business days after the transaction was processed, please contact Customer Support and our team will initiate a trace for your transaction.

How do I contact Customer Support? I have a friend and he is also withdrawing his funds through local funds transfer, and it would only take one day for the payment to reach his card.

Did you enter the account number or the card number when you set it up.?

 

it seems some people with those card accounts enter the card number which does not work....

Yes, of course. My card is still active and valid.

"Yes of course" what? You entered the account number or you entered the card number?

 

Did you, when you set up your withdrawal method, enter the CARD NUMBER instead of the ACCOUNT NUMBER?

 

In that case it will eventually bounce back to Upwork. The card is attached to an account. Banks do not send money to CARDS, they send money to ACCOUNTS.


So if you entered the card number instead of the account number the money will bounce about the international banking system for a while and eventually appear in your Upwork account again.

How will I know if the amount bounced back to my upwork account?

Hi Jhicel, 

 

I checked your account and the transaction was successful on our end. As Vladimir has shared, if after 8-business days the withdrawal still hasn't reflected in your account, our Customer Support team can issue a trace for you. 

 

In the past, there have been reports online that withdrawals to Union Bank of the Philippines take awhile to reflect in some users account. You may want to follow up with them in a few days or early next week.

or did you

 

B: Enter the CARD NUMBER?

 

If A: - Wait for the money to arrive in your bank account

Does this mean something?

 

Last week, it was just $15 (the payment I approved last August 23). It's now $24 since I have just made another transaction earlier this morning, which was $9. 

 

Am I doing it wrong? Is there something that should be done? I have received a notification that the funds have been processes, so I was expecting that it will be a fast withdrawal process. Please help. I'd like to have the asurance that I will be getting the amount I have worked for. Please know that this is important to me.

Did you recieved your funds? Because iam facing this problem as well . i receive my first withdraw in just 1hour and now its been 3 days i dont recieve my 2nd withdraw any one out there to help or assist me ?

I checked the transaction you are referring to and can confirm that the transaction is in process on our end. Please note that Direct to Local Bank transactions is processed within four business days. If the transaction still hasn't reflected on your account after eight business days, you can come back here, and our team will assist you further.

I think you should wait few more days. If you don't receive your money then contact with upwork customer support. Hope you will get your money soon.
