Hello,

I have the Upwork Freelancer Plus subscription and I would like the monthly payment to be made only by the credit card connected to my account and not by my Upwork earnings (money in the Upwork account). Any idea how to do that?

Hi Ana,

Thanks for reaching out to us. If you have an insufficient balance on your Upwork account, the billing method will be charged for your subscription renewal.

I understand that. I have sufficient balance. But I don't want to spend
that balance on that. I want the money for my subscription to always be
taken from the card linked to my account. I don't want to pay from my
Upwork balance even if I have it. Any idea how to set that up?

Hi Ana,

Thanks for following up. If there is a balance on your Upwork account at the moment the membership fee is billed, it will be deducted from the Upwork balance. The only way to avoid is to withdraw the funds before the scheduled billing.
