Payment showing pending in Transaction History Statement Period

Payment sent by the client is still showing pending in Transaction History Statement Period. Please help me as I new to freelancing and new user of Upwork too.

Yes, that's perfectl normal, as there is a 5 day security period.

You can see the date the money will become available in the left hand column (20th of January).

If you still haven't received the funds after 8 business days (today is business day 6), you can contact Upwork support to initiate a trace.

I do not work for Upwork so I can't help.

There is actually a 5 days security check time. You will get your payment after 5 days without any kind of issue. Wait a while & start searching for other jobs as well & forget about it. After 5 days you can get your sweetly earned money!
