Payment through paypal

Hello Upwork Team,

Concerning the payment method through paypal. Is it obligatory to have a paypal account with my name. My aunt has a paypal account can I get paid through it?

You may choose to use the PayPal account which belongs to your sister. But as a Freelancer, it's more safe to keep up with what's yours.

I don't have a sister. Can my aint help me with this problem?

It is just a temporary solution.

Hi Jihane,

Your payment method must belong to you and match the registered name on your Upwork account. Could you please confirm why you cannot have a payment method under your name?

Hello,

I have some problem with my bank account.It is taking time more than I expected and I need the money soon. It is just a temporary solution until I get my bank account fixed. 

My aunt suggest to help me with her paypal account and she can pay me cash.

I am stepping in for Pradeep. I can understand the urgency; however, your verified name must match the name on any bank accounts or payment methods you intend to use. You must be listed as an account holder or authorized signer on the chosen account or be able to demonstrate that you are authorized by the business to do so before we can approve it.
