Payment to sales manager

Hello! We have a freelancer and client account. Now we want to create an agency account in order to hire a sales manager (he will respond to projects for us). We need to make sure that he quickly gets his percentage from sales. And so that such transfers of money would not require him large commissions and actions. We work with clients on 100% phased prepayment. What are our actions for organizing such work?
PS: I have a very bad English, please give an answer in the form of instructions with a screenshot showing all the terms. Thank!

Hi Stas,

Since agency freelancers are paid off platform, you can setup a payment scheme with your Agency Business Manager where they can be paid the commission for the work they have done. Agency freelancers are paid off Upwork, as all the payments of the agency's contracts goes to the Agency Owner's account.

Here's a help article about creating an agency on Upwork, and here is a list of help articles that will help you manage your agency once it is set up. I hope these helps!

You do understand that that's not how the payment cycle on Upwork works, right?

Here, on fixed rate contracts, clients pay agreed milestones into Escrow, then release them when the work for the relevant milestone is done, has been reviewed and accepted.
