Payment under remaining option.

Hello team,

I am a freelancer, One of my clients accidentally has clicked on end/cancel of a contract. So the money is now on "Remaining" (See the image). Please, let me know how I can get the money?
My client has told me if he gets the money, he will send me again.
So what will be the process?

Best regards

There are two (three but one is hassle) ways: You will get a request to return the escrow funds to the client.

  1. You ask the client to send you a bonus payment through the closed contract, then you approve the request to return the escrow funds
  2. You approve the return of the escrow funds, then the client sends you a bonus payment through the closed contract.
  3. You decline the request for a return of the escrow funds, and create a dispute. This isn't a great idea because it takes time and is hassle and you'll have a dispute on your record.

Hi, Petra R,

If my client have refund the money already. He will agree to pay again $30 as a bonus. But I don't know whether he got it.
BTW, can you tell me, how he will get the money? Or see the image, can you know me what will happen automatically?

Thank you

Hi Khairuzzaman,

If you have approved the refund of the funds in Escrow and closed the contract, the funds are already returned to your client. If your client needs any help, they can reach out to us (Moderators) here or directly to our Customer Support. Thank you.

Thank you, Goran V.

I will contact my client soon. Can you let me know what will happen automatically? If we both take no action.
