Permanently Hide Chat Room After Ending Contract

After I've closed a contract, I no longer want to see the chat room for that contract. However, no matter how many times I "Hide" it, it keeps appearing every time I log into Upwork.

What's the magic method?

Could you please try using a different browser or the incognito mode of your current browser? You may also try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. I work in Incognito Mode and the contacts still appear. Just curious of this is a bug and what to do about it.
