Placing a job

So I need to post a translation job (outside of my languages), yet the machine won't let me sign in as a client (rather than the freelancer that I am) because my email already is in the system. Don't particularly want to use another, so...

 

Before going to CS, anyone out there know how do I go about doing it (for those who do both)...

Yeah, this isn't totally obvious, so I'll help you out.

DO NOT create a new account.

 

Instead, you activate the hidden "Client" side of your existing Contractor account.

 

If you create a new client account, oDesk will get mad at you and delete the new account.

 

You will be able to switch between your client and contractor "profiles" in your SINGLE oDesk account WITHOUT logging out. You will use the same username and password you already use.
