Popular scam?

I’ve gotten hit up by two recently revoked accounts with the same scams... Not sure how it works but they direct you to Google for a Google Hangout interview for a role that pays $38 for training and $68 per hour... They always say they’re from a really big company as well, like this screenshot from **Edited for community guidelines**. Super confused. Anyone has experience in this?

That is a regular scam aiming at new freelancers from the US. Just report the clients and move on.

Just report and move on? I think it’s fair to ask Upwork to have a stance, statement or at the very least a blog for new freelancers like myself and others to familiarize themselves with what looks like a scam... This message wasn’t any different at all from some of the other proposals I’ve received on this site that are actually legit.
