Dear Upworkers,
I am new to freelancing and had been a regular salaried employee for past 6 years.
Some of the websites for which I contributed as a team member for building them are available online but I am not sure whether adding information about those projects would be seen as a policy violation from my previous employers.
Can you please suggest what needs to be done to build my portfolio in this case?
Warm Regards,
Kavitha

I usually ask my clients if they are alright with me using the projects in my portfolio. There are some that don't agree to it. So the best bet is to ask your previous employer.
