My entire portfolio is online in my Website - yet there is no way to enter my url - only a video link.

How do I enter a few urls? or one main one?

So will you move your entire portfolio into Upwork's portfolio space? Or will you just forget about it? 😁

I can find posts where mods said that writing links to outside portfolios in the profile description is allowed. But, in the latest discussion I read about this topic, another mod seems to have reclarify his post about this being allowed. And to emphasize, this is about portfolio links in our profile description, not in 'projects', or even in Upwork's provided GitHub/SO panel, or LinkedIn, which basically are a means to contact us directly outside.

I've also seen people, including one with million+ earnings, has written portfolio links in his profile.

One thing that I believe I can be sure of is giving the portfolio links in proposals/messages. It's allowed, but read on...

The grey area again. Moderators have a number of different contradicting canned responses for this. There are many examples. Even in this thread, the answers are contradictory, although Annie Jane doesn't specifically mention Behance, you can easily find others who say Behance is okay .

There are however, cases where someone got warned after sharing links  to some page outside. As I said in that thread, it's probably decided on a case-by-case basis. There are other 'suspicious' things that trigger the warning. Or, it was simply done by some bots or a person who thinks like robots.

I, share outside links almost all of the time. If Upwork wants me to put all of my portfolio and samples into my profile page before I can share them, I'd rather ban myself.

What's not allowed is doing communications outside, before contract. They might ban you if (or they think) you do this.
