Possible Scam?

I know there are a lot of scams out there, not sure about this one. There are 10-15 proposals, but the company has no history and no verified payment. I did get a response from a proposal, and they want me to contact someone via Skype to schedule an interview. What do you guys think?

What Petra said. Also...

Asking for a skype interview is not necessarily a red flag. But mention of a "hiring coordinator" or any other third party getting involved, is a huge red flag.

Not a problem if client's payment method is unverified at the interview stage. Many new to UW don't bother to verify payment until they've found a FL they want to hire. Just be sure not to accept a contract until the payment method is verified.

Hi Sharon,

I've requested our team to review the job posting and client based on the info you've shared here.

I would suggest you browse  this thread which has helpful tips and excellent resources for users just getting started on the platform and you can also check out this thread for tips on avoiding suspicious jobs and scams.

Thank you and yes, I had made contact with the interviewer before looking up on here. The first thing mentioned was the work was going to off the platform and I said "Good day!" haha.

I flagged the posting as well, and will be more diligent in the future. Thank you everyone!

Yeah, I'm pretty new on here too, so I was on the fence with it, but it ended up being the scam. Thank you for your input!
