Potential Client asking to fill out a questionnaire in Google Docs

Hello,

I am new to upwork and have received my first reply to a proposal. They have asked that I fill out a questionnaire to "complete the session" and be put up for interview consideration. Is this normal? I am apprehensive about clicking a link that takes me out of upwork. I know to be cautious of communicating outside of the platform but wasn't sure if this situation fell under that category. Any advice is appreciated!
