Solved: Potential client sent me a telegram link

The original job on Upwork was to design a social media branding package. I sent a proposal, and the client came back with a message to contact him by Telegram chat.

In the Telegram chat, he said that I need to convert around 100 pdf documents to Word, which has nothing to do with the social media branding package in the original job. He later said that this is very urgent to him, and that can only afford to do the job off the Upwork platform. He said that he is going to pay me 20$ per document, which instantly sounded suspicious. I'm not sure what to do.

Why you contacted TG without contract? You can be banned for ToS violation.
