When a prospective client looks at my profile I want them to find the most relevant client feedback, which means "no feedback given" is pretty much useless for evaluation purposes.
I wrote to Upwork Help Center about this and here is their response:

Currently, on my profile this means a prospective client will see a 2014 - 5-star review, but not a more recent 5-star review. Furthermore, why is Upwork **edited for Community Guidelines**
It seems to me that it should be chronological order? Does anyone else have an issue with this?
Please know that when logged-in to your Upwork account, your Work History is arranged in chronological order. Anyone who is looking at your profile will have the option to arrange your Work History by by clicking on the "Newest First" button on the right-hand side of this section of your profile.
As noted by the Customer Support Agent who attended to your ticket, when a logged-off user accesses your profile, only select contracts will show up on your Work History.
Thanks for your reply. As pointed out in my post, I don't feel that a viewer that is not logged in benefits from seeing a 2014 5-star post when there are numerous more recent 5-star posts that offer more relevant feedback.
Furthermore, when "no feedback given" appears instead of actual feedback the viewer is deprived of the content that could assist them in making a decision.
Some jobs are originally posted as private or visible to logged in Upwork users only. Contracts formed based on those job postings will also not show in visitor view of your profile for privacy reasons.
Thanks Valeria. This is understood but does not address my point: why is a 2014 5-star review appearing when there are numerous newer 5-star reviews that should (IMHO) be showing.
By design the visitor view of the profile is lighter and can't include all jobs. Jobs shown are selected randomly but always exclude private and Upwork-only jobs. We appreciate your feedback, Kathryn, and will share it with the team.
Thank you Valeria. The random selection is not appropriate for my needs and I would appreciate it if your team could consider changes that at the very least were not 'random' when it comes to putting my most recent feedback first.
Also, why was the quote that I received from Upwork on this matter deleted from my community post?
