Are your parents really called Mr and Mrs Perfection and had the grand idea to call you "Design?"

If not, you must immediately change your profile name to your real, verifiable, legal name before you get suspended.

Do you really speak Italian?

I would like to reaffirm that Petra is correct. You must use your real, verifiable name according to Upwork's Terms of Service. Please update your name on file and follow the information provided on this help article.

What kind of jobs do you apply to? I am curious, because I've worked in finance most of my life, as to who your customers are.

I apply to jobs which require any sort of financial analysis, modelling,
valuation etc.

I understand that proposals are usually high for such projects (there are
usually 20-50 people bidding for such projects), but to not get any profile
discovery was surprising (and disheartening)

Yes, I can see that. I think you need to get a better understanding who you customers are (start-ups ...) and tailor your proposals better to their needs.

Again, my question who is your typical customer? What you offer I only know to be done in-house in the finance department, but those were large companies, which will not look for freelancers.

You need to understand your customer in order to win a job. Have you done an analysis of the relevant jobs on upwork to understand better the customer base?

I see your point.

I see (1) start up companies as relevant customers - they are mostly
seeking company valution to present to investors, banks etc or (2)
individuals working on assignments (school/college) looking to get certain
financial analyses done (3) other individuals who already have some sort of
analysis, but require further modelling or analysis.

On other hand, I see myself a great fit for a lot of projects on Upwork
(for example there are various projects for valuing a company) but I dont
receive any sort of response - I am concerned if my rate/price or
experience is a problem when it comes to freelancing?

For a design specialist, your profile looks extremely sloppy, with its total disregard of spacing, structure, and spelling. How are you going to build trust with a client that way?

Have a native speaker proof-read your profile for you and clean up the formatting.

If your proposal letters have the same issues as your profile, you should not be surprised nobody is looking further.
