Profile suddenly saying I do not reside in the US?

This is a new problem.  I have been verified as a US freelancer already and now Upwork is suddenly telling me that potential clients will see I am not a US resident when I try to submit proposals. I don't get it.  Help?  This is hurting my business!

This is not a new problem and this thread will be merged with a rather large one on this topic once a moderator see this. It's been an ongoing issue that is in fact totally unacceptable. I am sorry for the many freelancers who are being hurt by this bug that has been known for some time now.
