Never rely on invitations. You need to send proposals.

Hello Everyone,
I'm not getting any profile views either. Can anyone please help?

Hi Ahsan,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I understand that you are not getting any profile views. Please know that we are not privy to how clients choose which profiles they're viewing. We can only say that the search results are rotated every two weeks to give every freelancer a fair chance of getting their profiles noticed.

I noticed that in the last seven days, you've only sent out four proposals. We highly encourage freelancers to increase their chances of getting invited for interviews by submitting proposals. Technically, this is still the original structure of the marketplace: clients post job listings, and freelancers submit their applications. Although, if the client wants to send invites to qualified freelancers, they may do so by searching for freelancers who have the qualifications needed for the role.

You may want to try to create Project Catalogs based on the skills and services you offer. This is a new method for our freelancers to have clients come to them, giving freelancers the opportunity to create ‘projects’ that are pre-scoped with price, deliverables, and timeline. Clients can then search for these projects via a series of category pages (specific skills) and purchase them in just a few clicks.

You may also want to consider upskilling and learning new skills to increase your marketability. Competition is getting tough not only in Upwork but also on other platforms, especially since most people nowadays opt to work remotely. One possible reason might be also the fewer demands for jobs that fall under your selected skill set. You can also revisit the skills you have selected in your profile, only if applicable.

We also highly encourage you to continue to work to become a Top-Rated or Top Rated Plus Freelancer once you get enough recent work history. Having these badges in your profile will increase your invite and hire rate.

Hi Annie,
Thank you so very much for your detailed reply.

Can you please confirm if there's anything wrong with my profile?

I wonder whether this has to be adjusted by making the rotations occur more often?

From what I gather, there are far more profiles created nowadays, and at least some of them are bogus.

Meaning that real profiles can remain on the "bad side of the rotation" for at least two weeks.

I am no specialist in the field, but have also seen profile views plummeting since the beginning of August. And many people are reporting the same (through forum post like this one).

I wonder if changing the "rotation period" to a more frequent one would be able to introduce any change.

And whether the "availability badge" has any influence on where one ends up in those rotation results.

Hello Upwork team please check my profile views

Hi Muhammad,

I checked your profile views but you can also do this too by going to your My Stats page, and scrolling down to the analytics section.

It looks like you've only had 1 profile view in the last 7 days and 5 views in the last 30 days.

I've pulled a few resources that may be helpful to you. Check out these articles to help you create a profile that stands out and improve your profile title and overview. For some great tips on writing proposals that win jobs, check out this article.
