I’m seeking your advice regarding the contract category of a project that I currently work on.
I’m working on a project which requires Proofreading article writing. The contract name is "Proofreading / Editing for articles needed (EN)". In my understanding, this article writing project.
that client is my old client.I sent the custom contract to Upwork. I don't have any option to change the category.
However, Upwork has categorized this job under "Ecommerce Website Development" not “Writing”.
However, I think this is something that needs to be taken into consideration by the management.
Please let me know your thoughts on how I should go ahead to solve this issue.
Thanks.
Best,
MD Taukir Chowdhury

It's the client who selects the category for job posts. I don't think you can change the contract type after you hire someone to it. Generally, it's not a big deal, clients often misscategories job posts.
