Project is completed, but payment is still “in review”. Why, girls?

Client closed a project, it is “completed”. Why Upwork doesn’t push the payment to “pending” state?

Hourly contract = Weekly Billing Cycle.

This scheme works for ongoing projects. My question is why it continues working in case of closed projects. The logic behind this is strange and should be changed. Project closed = start of security period. This will be correct...

When your client releases a milestone or final payment on a fixed-price job, it immediately shows as pending on your financial account. Pending payments become available for you to withdraw after the standard five-day security period.

The logic for fixed-price jobs is correct. I can't understand why don't they follow this correct logic in case of hourly jobs...
