Project slow... when to stop it?

I have had a client for a year.. and he is SOOOO slow that it's driving me crazy... An average of 30 minutes per week and a rate that is currently half of what I charge others. 

I want to stop working for him because I'm not enjoying it anymore. 

I want to give him a one month resignation notice and then close the project. 

Is there any standard way of doing this in UpWork?

Or maybe I'm doomed to work for a low rate with this client until the end of time?

Please go to your Contracts and select the one you want to close, once you enter contract room you would be able to locate 3 dots icon in the upper right corner and select ''end contract'' option! Please let us know if you need further help! Thank you!

 There is no protocol that you have to follow, you can end a job at any time. Just make sure you tell your client in your most professional manner that you really enjoyed working with him, but yada yada yada....
