Proposal: TOEFL Exam as a means to verify English language proficiency

Some people haven't taken the Doulingo, IELTS, or Cambridge exams that are used to verify freelancers' English proficiency, but they have already taken the TOEFL exam which serves the same purpose. Those people currently cannot verify their English level with their exam result.

I suggest adding TOEFL to the list of exams that can be used to verify the English language level of a freelancer.

Agreed, it's been a year since this suggestion and still nothing, TOEFL would be a wonderful contribution to the platform.

I can see it's been almost two years and still TOEFL is not there. Why are you not adding TOEFL?

Hello. I am trying to register my TOEFL exam on Upwork, to get my English level certified, but I cannot find it. Is there anyway I can do this?

Hi Gabriela,

I am afraid we currently do not support TOEFL. Currently, we only support Cambridge and IELTS English exams. You can also check here for a more detailed list of the certifications that we support.

Thank you,
