Proposal Withdrawal by Upwork? Why? Connect not received back

Hii

I have just noticed that all 5 Proposal display as withdrawn. I have recently applied for 1 yesterday after purchase the connects which have been withdrawn from upwork, I cannot find a reason to why this happened,  I have not gotten back my connects either. I do not know what to do in this case.

I have also tried to find some kind of customer help desk, but the only thing I find is this community page, or the chat bot, is there really no regular customer service system here? Would appreciate all your help since I am new to this portal.

At times, either the client or Upwork withdraws a proposal.

If you don't receive your connect back within a few days, click Support above.

When i get my connects back because i have buy the connects for apply the proposal and that are now not available due to proposal Withdrawal by the Upwork may be due to verification of ID. I have completed ID verification on same day.

Upwork always deleting your proposals when verification initiated. And wont refund them. Your connects is lost. Sorry, but as-is.

I have buy connect on that day and all connect i buy are applied in proposal. Now all that proposal are withdrawal by the upwork its not my mistake. It is mistake by Upwork. So how can i raise complain in Upwork?

You cannot.

To be more correct, you can, but it is useless. Upwork never returned it for other peoples.

He wouldn't have been asked to verify since he hasn't gotten any jobs yet, and Upwork would have notified him if he needed to do it or if there were any other holds on his account (like a name mismatch on banking info). It's more likely that the jobs were scams, and he just needs to wait a bit to get the connects back.

Vimal, what exactly did the withdrawal notices say? What were the jobs - did you apply for anything like data entry, translation, product reviews or other "simple jobs for beginners" kind of things?

And if you look at your connects history from the past 30 days, there are no refunds?

If you're sure about that - and you're sure that there were no holds or suspensions on your account, and you didn't spend any connects by turning on your availability badge or boosting your profile - then you should post about the problem in the support forum. 

But, realistically, there's a 99.99% chance that your free connects are going to run out before you find a job here anyway. If you have no money to buy more connects - and new freelancers can end up spending hundreds of dollars without finding work - then there's no point in being on Upwork. You might be better off trying to user cheaper websites or social media to find clients.

I have buy connects. Then i applied for some proposals. Then i get the message from Upwork regarding verification of ID proof and Country and my Selfie. Then j verified that thing withing 2-3hours. Then i checked my applied proposal which are not displayed in Applied but it all goed to Archied and displays as Withdraw. It means when verification message received my all applied proposal were automatically Withdrawn by Upwork. And not connects for all proposal used are returned or credit back to my connects.

You could try platforms like Fiverr (although it's hopelessly saturated and the freelancer/client ratio is even worse), Reddit, LinkedIn, or sending cold emails to find work. It'll be hard, but who knows you might find something valuable.

But the only thing that will truly elevate you is upgrading your skills.

I want to work from Upwork buy this is 2nd time when my all proposal automatically Withdrawn by Upwork and my connects not credited yo my account.

I applied total 12 jobs from upwork from last 07 Months. out of the 12 jobs total 06 jobs was withdrawal by upwork itself due to which reason that i don't know. i applied for the Development type of work not any data entry type of work. All 06 Proposal may be withdrawal by upwork due to verification comes after proposal applied. Therefore i request Upwork to credit connects of all proposal which was withdraw by upwork.
