Hey everyone! I had a question and I'm hoping someone could answer me.

I applied for a job when it had 5-10 proposals already sent in. When I came back to the posting about an hour later, it said it had less than 5 proposals. It spiked again over night, and then back to less than 5 in the morning.

I assume the client deleted the proposals he wasn't interested in. What I wonder is, how do I know if my proposal is still active? I've searched online and it said that you get a notification if your proposal got rejected, and I didn't get any. I still wanted some reassurance though.

Check your active proposals. https://www.upwork.com/ab/proposals/

You will have lot of proposals soon, don't worry about each one. Most of them never will be removed\answered.
