Propose a new contract

I want to extend one of my job with my current client without ending the current project. 
So if I use the " Propose a new contract" option on my project management dashboard page, dose my current project will be ended? If yes, so what's the best solution to accept a new job offer from our current client?

Hi Elnaz,

You can either request your client to create a new contract through Upwork messages or using the 'Propose a new contract' option on your contract page. If a new contract is requested using, 'Propose a new contract' option and the client accept your proposal, a new contract will be created that will not be linked to your existing contract. Your existing contract will remain active until you or the client decide to end that.

Elnaz, looks like it is a fixed price job.

Simply ask your client to add a new milestone and fund it properly.

You can keep working on new milestones as long as you want and the client needs you.

And remember to only work on funded milestones to avoid working for free accidentally.
