Hello, all.
I recently got my business certificate for my DBA (Doing business as) so I can start freelancing under a new name.
My questions are, do I have to add that DBA to my Upwork profile? If so, do I update my W9 info on Upwork or do I start an agency profile, even though it's just me?

I understand I don't have to put my DBA in, but in my account settings, can I add it to the "Legal Name of Business" box in my Tax Information section? Like have my name that shows up on my tax returns and next to it add "DBA - Business Name"
Just want to add it in where I can.

Yes, you can add it in the tax box. Since it's just a DBA, it's not really that essential. I'm assuming you are a sole proprietor versus and LLC or S corp, where it may be more relevant.
