Query regarding what affects my Top Rated badge

My Upwork client has not approved the first milestone yet but my second milestone is due today and I have the work ready but I'm unable to submit it since the option is not available (since the client has not approved the first milestone yet). Will not submitting the work today on this second milestone affect my Top Rated badge?

Hi Reena,

Not meeting a deadline won't necessarily impact your Top Rated badge, since this is something you and your client agreed to and it's not part of the criteria for earning the badge in the first place. It's best for you to communicate with your client regarding your inability to submit the second milestone until the first one is approved, to avoid any misunderstanding.
