An advertising agency hiring to do texting or design or whatever? As a client?

If so, why not?

I may be missing something obvious

No, that is not allowed!

Flag the profile please!

He is associated with an agency, and agency managers can apply on behalf of the agency freelancers. However, that profile is in clear violation of policy.

It is possible for an ad agency to operate, but within the rules for agencies, which is basically that each freelancer including the agency owner have their own profile, individually, and that the client then hires everyone who will work on their project.

An agency owner must not apply and suggest that "he" get hired, with his whole agency messing with the client's stuff.

Only the freelancers specifically hired may do so.

PS - they migrated from Elance, where that business model IS allowed. Here it is not.

Stephen, it might be an idea to edit your post and take the identifying stuff out before a Mod comes with the edit stick Smiley Wink

I also wonder if the profile pic is real or fake ....

I dont understand what the individual did wrong? You cant mention in the profile anything about the agency you are associated with?

Stephen, its a policy violation to have in the profile an external link that offer contact option. Or its allowed?

1) Claudia, you can mention the agency you are a part of, but this entire profile is about the agency and makes it plain that the client would not be hiring pretty boy, client would be hiring the agency. And then whoever agency owner decides does the work, and that is not allowed.

The profile has to be about the individual whose name is at the top.NOT about his agency. All the info and the photo have to be him, and him alone.

2) No that's not allowed either.
