Hi,
I'm in discussion with a client about his project, and the job has been offered in USD. Client says he will pay in GBP, so we have agreed a new price in messages. Do I click the 'accept job' tab and later the payment will appear in GBP when project is completed, or does the client need to create a new job offer with GBP currency amount stated in it before I accept?
Thanks for any advice 🙂

Hi Hannah,
Prices on Upwork are always in U.S. Dollars (USD) and freelancers will receive U.S. Dollars as payment. Only the billing to your client's card may be converted to their local currency if that's the option they're are using. Check out this help article for more information.
When direct to local bank account is the disbursement method, then the funds are converted automatically into your local currency. You can check out this article for more information about fees and timing associated with the direct to local bank method.
Thank you!
