Question regarding contact charing poicy

Hello,

I have a question regarding the Contact sharing policy. I'm a sound designer, I make a sound for videos. So, when submitting proposals I need to show samples of my work to clients. I have a portfolio web page. This page does not have any contact form or link. The only link it has is the link to the Upwork page. Does using such a web page correspond with the contact sharing policy? I ask because rules say that even sharing usernames or names or any information that allows contacting on social media or other websites is prohibited. At the same time, my name becomes visible to a client as soon as the interview starts and he can easily find me on Youtube or Facebook or Linkedin, etc...

If a client makes effort to find you, you cannot be faulted even if they find you off website. That does not make much sense. check out this post by a mod. Refer to FAQ #5.

You are good! You can share it. However, even if the client finds you off UpWork, you still have to keep the payment on upwork for at least 2 years unless your client is ready to pay the conversion fee. refer to this article here

Thank you!
