REFUND REQUESTED

I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST A REFUND. I WAS MISLED INTO THIS MEMBERSHIP WHICH IS NOT ONLY USELESS BUT CAUSING ME HARM. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A SINGLE REAL JOB PROSPECT BUT HAVE BEEN SENT A PHISHING REQUEST. PLEASE REFUND MY $10 PAYMENT ASAP. THANK YOU.

No refunds of fees already paid will be given.

 

 

Your membership has nothing to do with receiving a phishing request. Scammers don't discriminate against freelancers with basic membership.

I'm sorry to hear your experience, LaAerial. As Ramesh has pointed out, please know that the membership plan will not be refunded. 

I checked your account and have reported the client that you have reported. You will be able to search for discussions about Google Hangout scams employed by some clients here in the Community. But I would also recommend that you read upthese tips for avoiding questionable jobs for more information about working safely through Upwork. 

 

I would like to note that I have requested the team to take actions against the client, and the job post, and I will update you once I receive more information from them.
